The Last Time - For REAL John Farnham

This is the last one! The last blog that I will post for MPI104!

...unless I get bored and decide to update it again later because I am super cool like that.

Over the course of the last 13 or so weeks I have learnt lots of interesting and useful stuff in MPI104.
First of all we were introduced to the wonderful world of blogger. Previously I had not been in the possession of a blog due to my general dislike of them; but surprisingly enough its not so bad. This is a good way to keep in contact with friends and comment on their sites, store links to websites that you enjoy, upload videos and photos and of course; spread the enlightenment of your every thought onto the general population.
Then there was Flickr. As you may have previously read I had a negative reaction to it at first (due to the exceptionally annoying and extremely pointless removal of a certain VOWEL!) But since this lesson the practicality of Flickr as a website has grown on me, and I now find myself bored and searching through random peoples photos and even making an alternate account for personal use outside of class.
Then onto Del.icio.us. Delicious is a book marking website that enables you to access places that you have bookmarked no matter what computer you are on.
In the last few weeks we have been learning about different things such as RSS feeds, counters for websites, and blog-like-search-engines like Technorati. Information and my thoughts on these can be found in the corresponding blog posts below.
I can't wait to continue to explore different aspects of the internet in my multimedia subject next semester and look forward to creating even better webpages (it wont be hard) than my current one (which can be accessed here)

So... Until next time my Amigos!
